How we’d put it, in her words, for the form
I need help with getting in and out of bed most days. On a typical day: I can't swing my legs round on my own. My daughter has to pull me up most mornings, and I get dizzy.
Highlighted words come from the answer. Nothing is added.
How it works
Why families use us
- It isn’t means-tested. Savings, pension and the house don’t count, so many families who assume they can’t claim, can.
- Answers that undersell real needs are a common reason claims are refused. We help you describe typical days and hard days properly, without exaggerating.
- Each parent claims in their own name, and both can get it: up to £229.20 a week between them. We do both for £89.
- Some claims firms charge over £1,000 or take a cut of the award. We charge £49, once.
